The secret difference between girls and boys was —
Marvin kissed his elbow. Casey, a girl in his class, told him a boy would turn into a girl if he did so. Then, Marvin felt very strange, as he felt his voice sounded weird, and he wanted pigtails and started dotting his i’s with little hearts, and he started to feel like knowing the secret difference between girls and boys.
The author is showing us a funny story, in which he is also throwing a problem to us that what the secret between girls and boys is.
